This is a brief summary of annual Town Meetings and Special Town Meetings over the last several years. Farmingdale's Annual Meeting is usually held in mid to late June and all financial decisions and proposed ordinance changes are made there. Town elections are usually held a day or two preceding the Annual Meeting.

June 16, 2022 -- all 62 articles were approved in 42 minutes at the High School with only sporadic questions here and there.

July 16, 2020 -- Annual Town Meeting (delayed due to COVID 19)-- about 40 citizens spent 43 minutes to cover 62 articles at the High School gym with everyone "socially distancing".  All articles passed.

June 13, 2019 -- Annual Town Meeting-- 58 citizens spent 90 minutes to cover 64 articles on this Thursday evening.  Several ordinances on Medical Marijuana, local food sovereignty, and shoreland zoning were modified or passed.

June 14, 2018 -- Annual Town Meeting-- just over 60 folks spent about 2.5 hours to cover 66 articles on this Thursday evening.  The major decision was to reestablish free use of the Gardiner Library once again for all Farmingdale citizens.

June 17, 2017 -- Annual Town Meeting-- 36 folks spent 65 minutes to cover 66 articles.  All articles were approved.

June 18, 2016 -- Annual Town Meeting-- about 30 folks spent less than an hour with little discussion to cover 65 articles on a warm afternoon.  All articles were approved except for one on a proposed constable car.
