Can they find your house in an emergency? Is your house numbered clearly?
With E-911, it is extremely important for all emergency responders (Police, Fire and EMS) to quickly locate your building in an emergency, both at night as well as during the daytime.
Please ensure that your street address is marked on your building so it can be easily identified from the street. If your building cannot be seen from the street, please ensure that your mailbox or a post is clearly marked with numbers on both sides so that emergency responders coming from any direction can locate you. Reflective numbers are the most visible as long as they contrast from the background.
