Entire town budget passes after half the crowd leaves -- June 13

72 town citizens attended the annual Town Meeting to address 68 articles.  However, half the crowd left after Article 6 on acceptance of Violet Drive was defeated 37 to 31. (see photos below) The remaining crowd then considered and passed the entire town budget within about 45 minutes.
